One of the secrets at Valley View is that we have produced Chardonnay every year since 1979. This is our best one yet! Grown by nearby Stepping Stone in the high mountains above Valley View, this extremely low yielding vintage resulted in a wine with intense concentration, rich flavors of dried pear, apricot and mango, finished with a bit of marshmallow and vanilla. This wine really shows with an hour or two of breathing and will reward from additional aging.
This wine was aged in once used oak barrels for 18 months which enhances the ripe rich flavors.
