The 2014 vintage was very warm, dry and very long which is a perfect combination for making a great Zinfandel. Grown in the Applegate Valley at high elevation with a full southern exposure, this bold red was harvested at 26 brix sugar and comes in at 15.5% alcohol but the ripe rich flavors of blackberry and raspberry create a wonderfully balanced wine. The tannins have softened to create a wonderful, full bodied wine to enjoy now and over the next couple years. Only 200 cases produced.
