Historically Cabernet Franc has been an important blending component in our Bordeaux varieties and blends. In the past few years, as it gets consistently warmer in the Applegate Valley, it has been made into a varietal. This wine features aromas and flavors of black currants, black pepper, dried herbs and cranberries. We have been cellar aging this wine so it is close to its peak of enjoyment and should be there for a few more years. Enjoy this medium bodied red with cheese, charcuteries and any chicken or meat dishes.
