This is the first Pinot Noir produced entirely from the new estate grown clones at Valley View. The vines are shaded from the afternoon sun which allow a slower ripening which retains the delicate flavors of Pinot Noir. The wine is fermented in small tanks and only free run juice is aged 14 months in once and twice used French oak barrels. This wine is loaded with aromas and flavors of black cherries, red plums, toasted marshmallow and a touch of mocha on the finish. It should continue to improve over the next 2-5 years. Only 315 cases produced.
